On Thursday, September 29, 2016 Bruce Templeton launched the third book in his Christmas series that shares his experiences assisting Santa! Published by Creative Book Publishing, the book was made available for the first time ever at the event held in the Knights of Columbus hall in St. John’s, NL.

As of today, you can find the book in many retailers, and online. Bruce will also be available at a number of signings and appearances, which you can find here.

Bruce Templeton to release third book – Twenty Four Teddy Bears – September 29!

Creative Book Publishing is excited to present Twenty-Four Teddy Bears: A Christmas Journey by bestselling author Bruce Templeton.

Join us on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at the Knight of Columbus located at 49 St. Clare Avenue in St. John’s, NL, to join in the celebration.

Twenty-Four Teddy Bears chronicles twenty-four of Santa’s most memorable visits over the past thirty-seven years. These have taken him from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to Senior’s Homes, and Santa has left the bears with tiny newborns, people who’ve passed their 100th birthday, and all kinds of children, adults, Christmas doubters, and Christmas believers in-between.

Stories that will make you laugh and cry, but most importantly make you appreciate the true meaning of the holiday season.

Charlotte’s proud parents Andrea and John very much looked forward to taking their daughter to Bruce Templeton’s recent signing for The Man in the Red Suit at Chapters on September 29 in St. John’s.  Charlotte was one of the young children that Bruce helped to meet Santa back when she was too young to remember. Born in October 2002, she was one of the children who spent Christmas in the hospital that year, weighing only a few hundred grams after arriving prematurely.

Andrea discovered The Man in the Red Suit after reading an article about it in The Telegram by Tara Bradbury, “I happened to be on Google News one day and a headline about a man in the red suit caught my eye under local Newfoundland and Labrador news,” she said.

“I clicked on it for curiosity and as soon as I started reading the column it was like I was struck with a ton of bricks! I immediately began to cry as I knew what was coming next. So many emotions came flooding back about that time when Charlotte was at the Janeway. As we had mentioned [at the book signing] there were many ups and downs during her stay there but by the time December came she had vastly improved. Things were looking up!”

Andrea and John were thankful for Charlotte’s visit with Santa that Bruce had arranged and were excited themselves to meet the real-deal.  It was something fun, uplifting, and positive for the whole family to focus on at the time.  The remarkable meeting also led way to tradition Andrea adds, “Charlotte had her own little Christmas tree there and we have had a family tradition each year since then. Every year we talk about her first Christmas and how Santa came to visit. Then she decorates her little tree and we put it in a special place in our house to remind us of the miracle we received.”

New Bruce Templeton signings added for The Man in the Red Suit

Following the launch event for The Man in the Red Suit: A Memoir on September 26 at Clovelly Golf Course, Bruce Templeton will be out and about for a couple of already confirmed signings!

The first will take place at Chapters on Kenmount Road in St. John’s, on Saturday, September 29 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.  Check out the details for this event on Facebook.

Later on Saturday, October 27, Bruce will be at the St. John’s Costco location for a free author meet ‘n greet, signing copies of The Man in the Red Suit from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
