Recently Bruce Templeton travelled to Albion, New York for a very special ceremony – one that saw him inducted into the Santa Claus Hall of Fame. Templeton is the only currently living Canadian to be in the hall, and the experience was a memorable one and an honour. He was one of six new inductees to the hall and at the conference’s main event Templeton told the room full of about 200 Santa assistants, “I know Saint Nicholas is beside me. Have no fear when you are asked to do the uncomfortable because Saint Nicholas is there beside you.”
The induction was covered in an article you can read here from the Orleans Hub.
Before the conference concluded, another special moment occurred involving all the Canadian delegates singing O Canada on the steps of the venue outside.
Along with Bruce the other inductees included Haddon Sundblom, James F. Martin, Ron Robertson, Sam Militello and Tim Cavender.
